It is vitally important to me that victims of crime have their voice heard within the police force and that support is available if people need it.
As your Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria I want to make sure these services are working for you.
As part of that, I want to hear your opinion as I refresh the plan for victims, the Victim Needs Assessment.
This refresh will review the existing support services available, identify any gaps in services and highlight areas where improvements could be made.
I have heard from the organisations doing their part to support victims, and now I need
to hear from people with first-hand experience.
Your feedback is really important in helping me shape the services that we provide for victims in the future. I really do need to hear your views in order to identify what support services are working well and where more support might be needed.
This survey should only take 20-30 minutes and the results will give an improved understanding of your and other victim’s needs.

Getting more help and support
We recognise that this survey might trigger emotional discomfort. We know that recollecting and thinking about these topics can be difficult.
If you are a victim of violence and need help and support then call the police on 999 if the abuse is still happening, if it’s an emergency or you are in danger.
